i'm not a therapist. i don't have a phd. what i have is a decade of doing this work on myself, in the dark, before anyone was watching. i survived a terrorist attack in mumbai in 2008. i buried four family members in eighteen months. i watched my dad die. i watched my husband go to rehab. i'm not special. i just finally stopped white-knuckling my darkness and started dancing with it instead.
i'm the billboard. the proof of concept. every single thing inside afterglow i lived for years before i ever taught it. this isn't a textbook. it's a map i made in the underworld.
